American Born Chinese: Toilet Paper

Mr Wolf brought us onto Disney’s American Born Chinese to create fully CG toilet paper for a nighttime TP-ing sequence — streamers arcing through the air, tangling around palm trees, and scattered across sidewalks and yard landscaping. The paper was simulated, lit to match the warm practicals against the night sky to be composited seamlessly into the live-action plates across multiple shot scales.
